Sadly some of the threaded spikes had damaged threads making it hard to screw on and adjust the disks. Once resolved was straightforward to use. Time will tell if it holds weight of shed workshop without settling / distorting.

We were setting up on a 6 inch gradient on rough ground and very simple to get level.
20mm drill bit to pilot the holes a very good tip.
Might be worth sending with protective caps for the spikes. When upside down with spikes pointing up, be very careful not to slip!

The video talks about turning over the frame with the discs etc attached. Using 6×2 and with a 12 disc frame this is not really possible safely for a single person. I thus had to build the frame on top of the QuickJack components, which made matters a little more complicated. But overall very happy with the solution, which I had selected as simpler, cheaper and more environmentally friendly than a traditional concrete base.
